A True Friend
You’re the truest friend I have
I thank God every single day
for blessing me with a best friend like you
Honestly,
I don’t know where I’d be in life
If I wouldn’t have met you five years ago
I love how you don’t judge me
and accept me as I am
I’m thankful for the advice you’ve given me
Right or wrong
That you confront me when I’m stupid
I appreciate that wouldn’t let anyone hurt me
You’ve done amazing things for me-
I think the best is…
Staying a true friend
never betraying me
Being there when I cried
and making me laugh away the pain
Supporting changes
decisions
and the adventures you’ve brought into my life
I thank God every single day
for blessing me
with a best friend like you

Dear Jaci,
I like your poem. It is interesting. I am making a poetry book for school. -Cooper
